The Moline Boys Choir is made up of boys ages 8 to 14 from throughout the Quad Cities who love to entertain. The Choir performs for churches, civic organizations, business groups,
conventions and clubs. It has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. In addition to contracted performances, the Choir presents two annual “home” concerts -a Christmas Vespers
and the Spring Concert. For more than sixty years the Moline Boys Choir has entertained and thrilled Quad Cities audiences
Mr. Karl Bodenbender is the current director of the choir - only the third to take the baton since The Moline Boys Choir was founded. Mr. Bodenbender is a
second generation “Choir Boy” himself, he and his father and brothers also having been members of the choir in their youth. The choir practices at the Coolidge facility located near Moline High
School. They meet twice each week (as the boys are able to) and on Saturday.
